An experienced and highly respected export “generalist” with 30 + years experience in global business. Experience includes new product market entry, establishment, rationalization and reorganization of international business activity for 6 medically oriented companies, and one consumer goods company. International responsibilities have always been worldwide. This has required work directly in more than 50 countries, and remotely in an additional 30 + countries. He is currently employed as Director-Global Development for SR Instruments in Tonawanda, New York.

Working in start-up and reorganizing export operations has required knowledge , and involvement in all areas of global operations , including sales ,marketing, banking , credit and collections, packaging and shipping , regulatory issues, dealer and distributor relations, this involved considerable knowledge of geographic and cultural awareness and a complete understanding of the “business process” in a wide variety of global locations.

In addition to regular company responsibilities, Mr. Baker has also participated in export promotion activities with, The Indiana Department of Commerce, San Antonio SBA and Sister Cities projects. Buffalo Sister Cities organization, former president of Buffalo World Trade Association. Actively involved in NAFTA and as a strong supporter of current “Free Trade” promotion activities. Knowledge of global business is regularly shared in speaking at various colleges, universities, seminars and many other business organizations. Recipient of the Marshall Glickman Award for contributions to international trade, presented by the Buffalo World Trade Council. He formerly served on the Advisory Committee, Journal of trade and Security, and on the Editorial board of Business Traveler International, magazine. Mr. Baker is involved with Current and ongoing activities in consulting and counseling new to export companies, independently, and as current Chairman of the Upstate New York District Export Council, He is also serving on the DEC National Steering Committee. As such he is acutely aware of the respective missions of the USDOC, ITA and the U.S. Commercial Service. Additionally he is involved as Adjunct Lecturer, University of Buffalo/ SUNY, Department of Geography, Board of Directors, Claddagh Commission for Developmentally Disabled, Serving on the Niagara University College of Business Administration, Business Advisory Council, and as Chairman of the board of Deacons, First Baptist Church of Hamburg, NY.

Lisa began her career in the passenger airline and tour industry with a focus on hosting international tourist groups through the unique areas of the State of Alaska. She began her FedEx career in 1985 as a courier.Opportunities within FedEx allowed for a focus on quality, service, sales, root cause analysis, and training facilitation. She has managed FedEx logistics programs and projects for many fortune 500 companies.

For the past several years, she has focused on programs and projects that bring FedEx’s world wide sales teams together for greater collaboration, the promotion of international trade and the implementation of the FedEx alliance with the US Commercial Service in the U.S. and over 42 countries, with a large focus on ASIA. She facilitated the signing of FedEx’s alliance with Austrade.

She served as the president of the Business and Professionals Women’s organization in Seattle, and is a member of the Washington State District Export Council. Lisa currently resides in Seattle, is married, and has 3 sons.

Sandra is president and co-founder of Global Resource Associates Inc., an international trade training and consulting firm established in 1989 with extensive experience in a wide range of industries (e.g., medical technology, manufactured goods, agricultural commodities, processed foods, forest products, transportation, project finance) and regions including Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East.

She is a co-developer of the FasTrack™ research, consulting, and training methodologies and co-author of Fast-Track Exporting, published by the American Management Association. The company uses its methodology to assist companies and organizations accelerate their success in export markets by assessing and targeting high-potential opportunities, developing highly competitive market entry and expansion strategies, identifying and selecting high-potential distribution partners and sourcing products, services and technologies globally. A major focus has been on providing organizational training, development, and technical assistance to companies and organizations transitioning from domestically to globally oriented visions, strategies, operations, and organizations.

Sandra has also organized and lead trade delegations to foreign markets and buying delegations to the U.S. Global Resource Associates was the recipient of the U.S. Presidential E-Award for Excellence in Export Service in 1993. As part of her current work, she organized and co-manages the Minnesota Wood Campaign, a trade group for marketing and branding wood and forest products and the Minnesota Wood Education Project, a non-profit educational organization to assist forest-related businesses.

Sandra serves as Vice Chair of the Minnesota District Export Council and has served in leadership positions on a number of other industry and government boards and committees. She is a former Director of Export Development for the State of Minnesota Trade Office and was a full-time university instructor for several years teaching marketing and international business classes. She has a B.S. in Marketing and Economics and a Masters in Business Administration from Minnesota State University – Mankato.

Deepak Vyas is current Vice-Chair of Missouri District Export Council and Member of National District Export Council. He has closely worked with Franklin L. Lavin U S under Secretary for Commerce in leading largest U.S. Business Delegation to India in 2005.

Mr.Vyas has received various national and international awards and recognitions such Businessman of the Year from President of India in 1995 and Inspiring Leadership Award by Government of India presented by Counsel General of India in 2004.. Mr.Vyas has unique distinction to serve on Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh (Second Largest State of India) – working group Panel for Economic development. He was architect of Global Investors Meet in India and closely worked with Australia, India, Singapore, and eastern European Countries to promote American Products and Investment in USA.
